Nowadays, almost all of larger towns in the Europe own airfield. The same is in USA, Canada or Australia. Getting flight tickets is much more usual for people, then it was 15 years earlier. But there are some huge airfields in the world, extents of it are sometimes bigger then size of a little town. Airfields like that are capable to send tourists to antipodes with one tour! They are so huge, that sometimes you may need a map to avoid getting lost.
