The biggest airports in the Old Continent

In present, almost all of bigger towns in the Europe have airport. The same is in USA, Canada or Australia. Buying flight tickets is a lot more common for everyone, then it was 15 years earlier. But there are some large airports in the world, scales of it are often bigger then size of a small town. Airports like that are able to send people to antipodes with one tour! They are so big, that sometimes you will need a map to avoid getting lost.

Airport Charles de Gaulle capital of France

This airport is the largest in Germany. Situated 10 kilometers from the city, contains two terminals. They are not connected with each other, but there is a train cursing between it for free. At airport are landing planes from over 100 airlines corporations. There is no problem to get flight tickets to any connection at the airport area. To get here you may rent a cab (20 Euro), take a bus or take your own car – there is plenty of parking lots, long and short terms. Also, there is a train stop, you may get here directly from almost every town in Germany.

Amsterdam Schiphol's Airport (Netherlands)

The biggest airport in this neighborhood, was build in early twentieth century. There is just one terminal, divided into two parts : first for Departures and second for Arrivals flights ( there). Airport laid next to highway, so you may easy get here by bus or cab. The cheapest option will be train – journey from old town costs few Euro. Also you can arrived here from Rotterdam, Utrecht, Haga and others, by city bus. At the airport's area you may hire a car, have lunch, buy flight tickets, get few groceries, and even drink a liquor in local bar.

Heathrow Airport in London (United Kingdom)

It is first one in Europe and 3rd in the world – last year, 70 millions of passengers were checked at Heathrow airport. Also, this one own the highest number of internationals connections. It contain 5 terminals, serving for 90 airline firms, and it cooperate with almost one hundred countries (find out). Inside you will find many of bistros, clubs, shops and galleries. It is one of 6 airfield in London state, you might come here easily by bus or cab – there is main route close to it. Also, you may take a city bus or choose train – there is a railway station close to Heatherow.

If you like to make sure, that you don't need to interchange in time of your flight, just get flight tickets for airplane coming from one of the airports above. You will see there planes flying all around the world without any interchanges. And those airports are still getting bigger.
